Where Ancient Timber Meets Coherent Light.
An intimate study of hand-assembled joinery, calibrated optical kerfs, and eco-friendly natural wood craftsmanship by artisan Marko Miholić.

“A lamp shouldn't merely illuminate a room; it should quiet the nervous system. When you place honest wood between a diode and human eyes, the world slows down.”
The Four Pillars of Craftsmanship
Sustainable Timber
We strictly use 100% FSC-certified Baltic birch, selected for its tight, consistent grain. We refuse to compromise our environmental integrity with synthetic plastics or cheap veneers.
Precision Laser Carving
Our London studio optical laser system is calibrated down to 0.10mm, allowing for crisp, intricate fretwork and flawless interlocking joints that require absolutely zero toxic glues.
Ambient Warm LED
An ultra-efficient, safe 5V USB-powered LED core. Calibrated to 2200K, it emits a soft, comforting fire-like glow that supports your natural circadian rhythm and runs completely cold to the touch.
Organic Danish Oils
Each sculpted piece is painstakingly hand-sanded and hand-rubbed with non-toxic, organic Danish oils to seal the wood while bringing out its natural, warm and textured lustre.
The Crafting of a Luminaire
Silhouette Drafting
Marko maps the foundational designs and structural joints using digital drafting, balancing the wood's strength with elegant shadow throws.
Laser Etching
Focused beam carving through Baltic birch. The process naturally scorches the edges, creating a beautiful burnt umber contrast against the pale wood.
Oiling & Finishing
The cut panels are hand-rubbed with natural Danish oils, protecting the birch and enhancing its organic warmth.
Light Diffusion
A specialised translucent membrane is secured to the inner cavity. This diffuses the LED light evenly, preventing glare.
LED Core Installation
The 5V USB diode module is safely seated inside, designed to run completely cool so it is safe to touch and leave on overnight.
Interlocking Assembly
Panels snap together using precise interlocking laser-cut teeth. We avoid toxic glues to ensure the luminaire is fully recyclable and eco-friendly.
Quality Inspection
Darkroom photometric audit for shadow acuity, followed by Marko's personal quality check before careful packaging.
Ready for Dispatch
Each completed piece is cushioned in unbleached wood wool and dispatched worldwide with tracked shipping.
