# Dog Lamps
> Wooden night lights for dog owners, made in London
Dog owners choose these as everyday decorations and as a quiet way to remember a much-loved pet. The range includes breeds like the pug, the French bulldog and golden retrievers, each cut into responsibly sourced natural wood with a warm glow.
## Dog Lamps at a glance
- Breed lamps include French Bulldog, Pug, Corgi, Beagle, German Shepherd, Golden Retriever and Chihuahua.
- Scene lamps (a puppy in the window, a dog and cabin, a park at sunset) suit any dog lover.
- Every lamp is laser-cut from responsibly sourced natural wood, hand-sanded and sealed with a non-toxic finish in our London studio.
- USB powered, cool to the touch and safe overnight near a dog bed.
- Most designs are £37.99, with free tracked UK delivery (usually dispatched in 1–2 working days), worldwide shipping and a 21-day money-back guarantee.
## Made for dog people, in London
The dog range came from a simple idea in the London studio: a lamp that dog owners would actually want in the house.
Each breed is designed at the studio, laser-cut from natural wood and finished by hand. The warm light sits behind the design, so the dog stands out clearly, while the real wood keeps its own character on every piece.

## Choosing dog lamps: your questions answered
### Which dog breeds have a lamp?
French Bulldog, Pug, Pembroke Welsh Corgi, Beagle, German Shepherd, Golden Retriever and Chihuahua have dedicated designs. The full breed list, with the scene each one shows, is in dog lamps by breed.
### What if my dog’s breed is not in the range?
Choose a scene that captures how your dog lives (the puppy waiting at the window, the dog and cabin for outdoor dogs), or commission a custom lamp from a photo of your dog.
### Is a dog lamp a good memorial gift?
Many are bought in memory of a dog. A soft light that comes on in the evening is a gentle way to keep them close, and it is safe to leave on, unlike a candle. See pet memorial gifts.
### Are dog lamps safe in a room with a dog?
Yes. They run cool on low-voltage USB and many owners leave one on overnight for older dogs. Keep the cable tidy so puppies cannot chew it.
### How much is a dog lamp?
Most dog lamps are £37.99 with free tracked UK delivery and a 21-day money-back guarantee. For gift ideas by breed and occasion, see gifts for dog lovers (UK).

## Made by hand in London
- **1. Pick the wood** Every dog lamp is cut from responsibly sourced natural wood.
- **2. Cut the design** A laser cuts the breed silhouette, keeping the fine details of ears, muzzle and posture.
- **3. Sand by hand** Each piece is hand-sanded so there are no rough edges or splinters.
- **4. Finish and check** A non-toxic finish is applied, and each lamp is checked by hand before it is posted.
## Runs on any 5V USB socket
The lamp runs from any standard 5V USB socket with the cable included. Use a phone charger, a laptop USB port or a power bank. It uses very little power and stays cool, so it is safe to leave on overnight, even in a home with dogs and children.

## Frequently Asked Questions
### 1. Is the lamp safe around dogs?
Yes. It is natural wood, runs on low-power USB and stays cool to the touch.
There is no glass to break and nothing gets hot, so it is fine in a home with dogs.
### 2. Can I request a custom dog breed lamp?
Yes. The studio takes custom commissions.
Contact Artiviesta through the studio to ask about a personalised piece for a specific breed or a particular pet.
### 3. How bright is the lamp?
It gives a soft amber glow, lovely for the evening rather than a task light.
It is a gentle night light, so it suits a bedroom or hallway better than a desk lamp for reading.
