# Cat Lamps
> Wooden night lights for cat lovers, made in London
Cat lovers pick these for the bedside, a hallway or a shelf. Each lamp is a cosy nod to their favourite animal. The scene is cut into responsibly sourced natural wood, and the warm glow comes from a low-power LED that is kind at bedtime.
## Cat Lamps at a glance
- A cat lamp is a night light or lantern with a cat design; ours are laser-cut wooden scenes that glow warm amber.
- 30 cat designs, from black cats in moonlit windows to kittens with butterflies and cats in love.
- Each lamp is laser-cut from responsibly sourced natural wood, hand-sanded and sealed with a non-toxic finish in our London studio.
- USB powered, cool to the touch and safe to leave on overnight.
- Most designs are £37.99, with free tracked UK delivery (usually dispatched in 1–2 working days), worldwide shipping and a 21-day money-back guarantee.
## A collection for cat lovers, made in London
The cat range is made for the people who live with cats and love them. Marko Miholić designs each lamp himself, working from a small studio in London, and every order is checked by hand before it is posted.
Every design is laser-cut from responsibly sourced natural wood and finished by hand. When the lamp is off it looks like a neat wooden picture. Switch it on and the cat scene glows softly, which makes it a calming light for the evening.

## Choosing cat lamps: your questions answered
### What is the best cat lamp for a cat lover?
The best cat lamp matches the person’s cat or style: a black cat in a window for black cat owners, Cats on a Swing for couples or two-cat homes, a ginger tabby for orange cat households, and kittens with butterflies for children. Our 10 best cat lamps guide compares them.
### Do you have black cat lamps?
Yes. Black cats work beautifully as silhouettes, and the collection includes Black Cat in the Window, a bold Black Cat night lamp and Cat in the Window Moon. They are popular all year and especially around Halloween.
### Is a cat lamp a good gift?
Yes, because it is personal and used every evening. Most cat lamps are £37.99 with free tracked UK delivery and an optional handwritten gift note. More ideas in gifts for cat lovers (UK).
### Are cat lamps safe around cats?
Yes. The low-voltage LED stays cool, so a curious cat will not be burned. Route the USB cable behind furniture so it cannot be chewed, and place the lamp where it will not be knocked off a shelf.
### Can I get a lamp of my own cat?
Yes. Send a clear side-on photo through the concierge page and Marko will quote for a bespoke design. See how custom pet lamps work.

## Made by hand in London
- **1. Pick the wood** Every cat lamp is cut from responsibly sourced natural wood.
- **2. Cut the design** A laser cuts the cat scene into the wood, keeping the fine details of ears, tails and paws.
- **3. Sand by hand** The edges are hand-sanded until they feel smooth, so there are no rough spots or splinters.
- **4. Finish and check** A non-toxic finish is applied, and each lamp is checked by hand before it is posted.
## Runs on any 5V USB socket
The lamp plugs into any standard 5V USB socket using the included cable. A phone charger, a laptop USB port or a power bank all work. There are no batteries to replace and no humming, and the lamp stays cool even after hours of use.

## Frequently Asked Questions
### 1. Is the lamp safe around cats?
Yes. It is made from natural wood with no glass, and it stays cool to the touch.
It runs on low-power 5V USB, so nothing gets hot. If a cat knocks it over, it is a solid wooden lamp, not glass.
### 2. Does the light bother cats at night?
No. The warm amber glow is gentle and easy on the eyes.
The lamp gives a soft warm light rather than a bright, harsh glare, so it stays calm for pets and people in the evening.
### 3. Can I clean cat hair out of the cut-outs?
Yes. Use a soft dry brush and it comes away easily.
The wood is hand-sanded smooth, so dust and hair can be brushed out in seconds.
### 4. Where is the lamp made?
Every lamp is made in London by Artiviesta, the studio Marko Miholić founded in 2024.
The designs are laser-cut and hand-finished at the studio in London, then checked by hand before dispatch.
